Clock It works offline. It does not require an account or include advertising, analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. The app does not transmit your alarm or timing data to us.
What stays on your device
Clock It stores alarm times, labels, repeat days, vibration choices, snoozed occurrences, timer and stopwatch sessions, lap times and appearance preferences in the app's local storage. These values are used to provide the clock and timing tools. We do not have access to this local data.
Android permissions and system services
- Alarms and reminders: schedule alarms and countdown completion using Android's alarm service.
- Notifications and full-screen alarm access: show scheduled alerts and their snooze/dismiss controls, including on the lock screen where allowed by Android settings.
- Foreground audio service and wake lock: play the device's alarm sound during an active alert and keep the device awake for that alert.
- Vibration: provide vibration when you enable it for an alarm.
- Restart/time-change events: restore scheduled alarms after a restart or clock/time-zone change.
Clock It passes alarm information to Android's local scheduling and notification services to provide these functions. It does not request contacts, location, microphone, camera or photo-library access. Alarm sound is played locally using the device's selected system alarm tone.
Collection and sharing
The Android app has no internet permission and does not send personal data to Moondrop Studios or advertising/analytics services. We do not sell your data. If you contact support by email, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to respond. Avoid including sensitive alarm labels or other private information unless needed for your support request.
Retention and deletion
Your local settings and sessions remain until you change or delete them, clear Clock It's app storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. There is no Clock It online account to delete. Support correspondence may be retained as needed to handle the request.
Children
The app's offline data practices apply to all users. Clock It does not collect children's personal information or provide account, messaging or advertising features.
Links and this policy website
Opening this policy or emailing support uses your browser or email app. This public policy page is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, which may process ordinary connection information to deliver the page. Those services operate under their own privacy policies. This does not give Clock It access to your browser history or email account.
Updates
If Clock It's data practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date.
